RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software.
- Monitor server performance and ensure optimal resource utilization.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Provide technical support to end-users regarding system-related issues.
- Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard system integrity and data.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures.
- Conduct regular tests to verify the effectiveness of backup and recovery processes.
- Investigate and resolve system-related issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to address escalated technical problems.
- Coordinate and apply software updates, patches, and security fixes.
- Keep systems up-to-date with the latest software versions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
- Contribute to the development of system-related documentation and training materials.
REQUIREMENT:
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in administering Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud platforms is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
